What we think about, especially when we are thinking about what we do not want, we bring about.

I listen closely for both what is said and what is not said when I work with CEO’s and business leaders. Thoughts create words, words create mental pictures, pictures create action, and action creates results. How we communicate is everything, starting with how we communicate with ourselves.

The only domain with which we have complete control is language, and being deliberate about managing our internal dialogue is the first step to achieving what we want in our business and in our lives.

Take time to think – focus on what you want versus what you don’t want – translate your thoughts into inspiring pictures – take action steps toward the picture – and recognize how results are directly associated with your original thoughts…
