When we listen beyond the spoken word for intention - for the framework in which a story hangs - clarity, character, and purpose are waiting to emerge. Our responsibility is to slow the conversation down in order to discover what it really wants and needs to be about... the meaning that lies underneath the verbal communication. Come into the dialogue with empty hands and an open heart, or risk hearing every word and missing the message altogether.
