"People do not care about your stories - you do."
— James McPartland
Events happen, people say things, situations unfold, and we naturally assign meaning to each and every thing that occurs to us in our day-to-day life.
When we come to recognize that all of us do this, we begin to see how the meanings (the stories we create) develop to quantify, justify, or validate our beliefs. Masters of communication however, focus on the facts (and edit out the stories) looking to cultivate new possibilities and not recreate more of the past.
