"We arrive at the situations in our life one conversation at a time."
- James McPartland
Our lives rise and fall inside of our conversations, all of which are led by the daily conversations we are having with ourselves.
Conversations are the lifeblood of our most important relationships, none more important than the one relationship we have with ourselves. The quality of the conversation determines the quality of the relationship. Issues in my life are rarely about another person; they are almost always about me.
Finally, when I think about it, I recognize that all of my conversations are with myself even when other people are present.
Let's give better care to the conversations we have with ourselves. From there, our relationships with others are better positioned to evolve in a positive way.
