Access Point: Look At Your Response

"Most of life is not happening to you. It’s responding to you."

Access Point: Look At Your Response | Blog post by James McPartland | Speaker, Author, Executive Coach

What we get out of life, mostly, is what we focus on and put our energy into.

How we interpret our world, and how life occurs to us, drives the actions we choose to take and the results we get from those actions. We frequently look for evidence to support our beliefs, and most often this happens through the lens of our disempowering beliefs.

Beyond focusing on what we want, there is enormous power in focusing on what we expect. If we stay committed to the process and the journey and require no short-term proof that what we want is on the way, we are positioned to bring forth the most amazing and inspiring results in our lives.

So as you go about each day, afresh with opportunity at each rising of the sun, think about what you’re thinking about, give forethought to the actions you intend to take, execute confidently, and respond to the outcomes accordingly. When you look at it that way, powerful and meaningful life experiences are just a few intentional thoughts away.
