The great majority of us use willpower to initiate new behaviors, as we all endeavor to attain specific results, goals, dreams and the mastery of our life's purpose.
Consider the underlying force that is at the root of our behavior - our beliefs. No matter what we promise ourselves, if we don't truly believe in ourself (or in our abilities), we ultimately return to the activities that are congruent with our self image.
